Egyptian Artifacts Come to Denver

The Denver Art Museum is featuring a special exhibit on the treasures of King Tut.
Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs runs from June 29, 2010 to January 9, 2011. The exhibit features more than 50 objects from King Tut's tomb, including the largest image of King Tut to be unearthed. It also features 80+ additional artifacts from other important Pharaohs including Khafre, credited with building the Sphinx, and Queen Hapshepsut.

This traveling exhibition is a great introduction to Egyptology, but nothing beats going there and seeing the sites in person. Our new 9-day
Highlights of Egypt tour takes you to Cairo, The Great Pyramids at Giza, the Sphinx, the ancient capital of Memphis, an optional trip to Abu Simel, a cruise down the Nile, and the many antiquities of Luxor. For more information, or to design a custom Egypt trip, give us a call at 866-778-1089.
